So, I used a 1/8' bit, drilled a new hole in the metal base (using the rear holes in the new cover) and installed a #10 X 3/4' sheet metal screw. Seems very durable and hopefully the last we' ll need to install.įront pre-drilled holes were perfect, however the rear side pre-drilled holes on the new product needed to be 1/4' further to the rear. When ordering I forgot to check the driver side vent holes and had to cut in my own. I replaced all 3 shrouds and hope they last as long as the originals!
